After much anticipation the Mick Boogie x Peter Bjorn & John remix project is finally out. With some dope feature (Bun B, The Kid Daytona, Big Pooh, GLC, Talib Kweli, 88-Keys, Outasight, U-N-I, GZA, Buckshot, just to name a few) along with some equally dope producers (AJK, 6th Sense, The Kickdrums, Marco Polo, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jet Audio, nVMe, Cookin’ Soul and more) there’s no way this mixtape can turn out anything but dope. Peep what Mick Boogie had to say…

It’s finally here! The long awaited, Mick Boogie curated remix project for one of the world’s coolest bands, Peter Bjorn & John! I got together with some of my favorite producers and emcees and came up with a Mick Boogie classic! Video: Liquid Swords Freestyle x Interview on BET’s 106 & Park – Mos Def

Vodpod videos no longer available.

I find this really hard to believe, but Mos did it. First off Mos kicks a dope freestyle (off the top, mind you) to a classic GZA instrumental, Liquid Swords, and has a little interview afterwards… smh @ Rocsi not even knowing when Mos’ album drops and smh @ the fact that more than half the people in there probably didn’t even know that GZA beat…

An H2G Post: Its That W Coming Through…

Lately, so much Wu-related material has been dropping it’s been hard to keep up, thus we have the H2G post dedicated to Wu. First of all, we have the newest video from Rae which is now titled “New Wu” (as opposed to the last two names it went by, Wu Ooh and Back From The Slums) off of Raekwon’s OB4CL 2. Next order of business is four tracks. The first of them is a new one from Red & Meth off of Blackout 2 entitled “4 Minutes to Lockdown” featuring Ghostface & Raekwon. Seriously that shit is TOUGH, from the sound of it, it’ll be the best song off of Blackout 2 for sure. Along with that we have two from The Chef, one you might’ve heard already and the other off of The Brink Boys Present: Staten We Go Hard v. 1 and finally theres a really left-field track that features the GZA by The Black Lips. Also, after the jump theres an interview that Redman did with Dr Jays (not really Wu but its related enough…) and a video where N.O.R.E. links up with Raekwon, Alchemist & Evidence at Alc’s studio. Alc and Nore discuss their Twitter beef and Raekwon lets us know OB4CL2 is coming. Also included, a small snippet of N.O.R.E. & KiD CuDi’s new joint (untitled at this time), off that “S.O.R.E.” album.

Download: 4 Minutes to Lockdown (Ft. Raekwon & Ghostface Killah) – Method Man & Redman
Download: Resolution – Raekwon
Download: Flashback Memories (Ft. The Game) – Raekwon [No DJ]
Download: The Drop I Hold (Ft. GZA) – The Black Lips

Arms Race Freestyle – Mickey Factz

I read recently in an interview that this was originally supposed to be on the Arms Race MegaMix with like the other 50 artists that jumped on it but didn’t make the cut, I wondered where this verse was and of course Mr. X has dropped it for us.
