After going on the hunt for the Slaughterhouse album for the past few days, Morph and I finally found a place that carried the disc, but the catch is that there was only 1 copy… Morph put it on hold while I’m still keeping an eye out. Getting that out of the way here’s a mix of Crooked I material featuring exclusives, remixes & various tracks that highlight why you should reaaaaaaaaaaaally stop sleeping. Real talk.

3 Emcees – Crooked I, One-2 & Mykestro

Word of this tape has been around since late 2006 and the first leak featuring Crooked I, Mykestro and One-2 produced by Komplex only appears now, here’s a break down of what the tape is according to Mick’s myspace back in ’06..

MICKS TAPE is a project I have been working on for Treacherous Records and for the New West music scene. It’s called MICKS TAPE because my name is Mickey and its my tape[i had to break it down for the slow folks out there haha]. Its gonna have all original production and all new music from Treacherous Records artist and other young NEW WEST artist as well. I don’t have a release date but it will be out by this year [2009]. Back to the project , I wont be screaming on any songs I think that should be left for dj’s to do on mix tapes .This is bigger then me that’s why you won’t hear my voice on the project or see my face on the cover this is for the young new west coast talent and for the treacherous family. These artist & producers who I work with need to get some more shine and show the rest of the world we still have talent out here on the west and that we are making some great music. The music will speak for itself. Thanks ahead of time to everyone who supports it.

XXL Presents: I Know Rap People Slaughterhouse Edition

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Most definitely the funniest installment of XXL’s I Know Rap People by far, just like I think that the Slaughterhouse episode of Its The Real was the best one over there. Dude’s are mad funny! The Slaughterhouse album is in stores today, really now GO COP IT!

An H2G Post: Slaugust

Yet another mass Slaughterhouse post, although this one isn’t as massive as other ones, it’s just as important because I need to remind you of a few things, in a few minutes it will be official Slaugust 11th, which means two things: the Slaughterhouse (1) album officially hits stores along side Joe Budden’s Escape Route(2) and for those in Winnipeg come August 21st, Slaughterhouse will be tearing down The Pyramid along with Slum Village for our mini RTB. Awesome right? Well on to what everyone is here for, the downloads. This time around I have two things that you’ll most definitely want to add to the iTunes library. Slaughterhouse’s We Outta Here has officially leaked and is a part of Joe Budden’s Escape Route and Royce joins Crooked I’s west coast brothers, The Horse Shoe Gang for a track.
