Wayne’s daddy get’s Drake and his son to feature on a track for him. I guess those are the perks of having a multi-platinum selling artist for a son and the newcomer with the most buzz on his Young Money imprint.

He missed out last week, but J.A.M.E.S is back with another re-fix, this time Lil Wayne’s Prom Queen gets the treatment…
I figured it’d be best to drop something off this week that was a little different, something that was special; in that spirit, I decided to re-fix Lil Wayne’s “Prom Queen”, one of the most polarizing songs of the last year — no middle ground, you either loved it or you hated it (I, for one, enjoyed it).
Nonetheless, I took the debut rock song from Baby’s son and furthered its concept by exploring the struggle of a young man seeking the affections of a girl who is far out of his reach. No need for further explanation, just take a listen — this may be J.A.M.E.S. like you have never heard me before.
Also, in lieu of my absence last week, I am throwing in a bonus demo mp3 for my listeners; tentatively titled People Feel Better, this was just a little something I came up with during a late night writing session. Dusty sample x no real mixing + heartfelt lyrics = my essence.

The other day, this track featuring Travie (of GCH) and Wayne dropped with massive tags, thanks to Buck Marley (shouts) but Karen Civil comes through with the tagless version for us to enjoy. This track is one that got left on the cutting room floor which says alot about ALC, dude is all about quality.
Download: I Know Your Name (Ft. Travis McCoy & Lil Wayne) – Alchemist [Tagless]
This is amazing to me, Jonathan Mannion is one of those guys in Hip Hop that are so essential without you even knowing it. Dude has taking alot of shots of monumental hip hop moments including Hov w/ the Blue Bentley for the Hard Knock Life album shoot (above), B.I.G. tearing down the Hollywood Palladium (under the cut) and much more… Continue reading
Solitair repping Toronto to the fullest. The video speaks for itself, seriously though Ciph is the man.
There’s been numerous versions of this song, one featuring some rapper and some DJ, another with just Wayne and now we have the final version in CDQ with no DJ featuring Wayne and Jeezy with shouts to Mr. X on the eXclusive.
Download: I’m Goin’ In (Ft. Lil Wayne & Young Jeezy) – Drake [No DJ]
Some unreleased tracks that are featured on this mixtape have been floating around the internets, so I figured why not just bring you the whole thing? Shouts to 2dope.

… such as Officer Rawse, Jim Jones, Lil Wayne, Kanye and more.
The Joell verse on this is ridiculous as per usual, plus another freestyle from the dude
Download: Loser f. Lil Wayne, Sparkdawg, Big Sean, Joell Ortiz, Sum 41, J-Son – DJ Yo Dah & Tommy Lee
Bonus: We Made You Freestyle – Joell Ortiz
Shouts go to OctsVeryOwn for the following…
This is a reference track that I did for Wayne. It was gonna be on Dedication 3. Needless to say it never made the mixtape but now you understand the point of view that I was writing from.
… and here we’re thinking Drake doesn’t write for Wayne… Haha. CANADA STAND UP!!
