I’ve been waiting for this to drop for a while, and I know there are some of you out there (what up, Russell?) who are pretty stoked about it aswell so here’s a little trailer to get you even more impatient…

Peep the trailer for Mike Posner’s web series, One Foot Out The Door, which will debut on elitaste.com on September 30th. This series will correspond with the release of Mike’s new mixtape, also entitled One Foot Out The Door. The mixtape and series, which follows Mike as he balances his senior year at Duke with his full time music career, features appearances by Rosa Acosta, Wale, Gym Glass Heroes, KiD CuDi, Bun B, 3Oh3, 2AM Club and many more awesome people! It will also go behind the scenes of his shows, Austin City Limits, ThisIs50 Fest, the studio and even some important meetings. Tune in starting September 30th for Episode 1 and then every two weeks for a new episode.

This is one of my most favorite songs in a long time. Shouts to shamz of OKP

While inside sources tell us that they haven’t turned the album in yet, The Roots’ How I Got Over has a November 17th street date. They did, however, already shoot a video for the first single and title track “How I Got Over” with BBGUN. Here’s a teaser. We’ll release the full video tonight or Thursday. The Roots are busy preparing for tonight’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors where Black Thought and a certain rapper from Detroit (*cough* Eminem *cough*) will open the show with a tribute to LL Cool J’s classic “Rock The Bells.” This year’s HHH celebrates Def Jam’s 25 year anniversary.

Video: Air Born (Ft. Bun B) (Trailer) – The Kid Daytona

EBC (Entertainer’s Basketball Classic) star, Africa defies gravity in the latest Derek Pike directed music video for The Kid Daytona and Bun B titled “Air Born” off Daytona’s album “Come Fly With Me”. And yes Africa does make those dunks, you will just have to wait for the video to see them. Video drops sooner than you think and I must admit, our young gunner Derek is quickly proving himself to be one of the next prolific artists from the Three/21 camp.

Video: Dear Moleskine (prod. Just Blaze) (Trailer) – Jay Electronica

I play Exhibit A (Transformations) almost every day, so some new Jay-E would be so welcomed. Jay and Just are deciding to tease us for a little long by dropping a trailer to the upcoming Jay Elec video entitled Dear Moleskine produced by none other than Just Blaze. Also, you can hit the jump for some words Just had to say about Jay while chopping it up with iHipHop… EDIT: I’ve just been exposed to a track that Wayne did with Sir Justin Blaze that has (as far as the NMC knows) never been out without tags, so enjoy that aswell and shouts to 2dopeboyz

Well, sorry for the lack of updates yesterday (see: none) but I was out with the family entertaining the outatowners. I’ll only be around until about 11 am, so I’ll try to do the best I can to get caught up. Here’s the trailer for the upcoming video from J. Dilla’s Jay Stay Paid w/ Raekwon & Havoc.

Despicable Me – Pharrell Williams

Right here goes the instrumental/hook theme song for Steve Carrell’s character for the upcoming animated movie, Despicable Me (July 9th, 2010) which I posted the trailer above. I’m a sucker for movies like this, but even more so is Morph, dude paid 13 bucks to see Up! in 3D. It’s only a matter of time before the flood of freestyles etc. over this track.
